Due to the ability of self-climbing, lifting machinery is not need, which reduces the load of transportation machinery in construction. Suspension of scaffolding on a self-climbing template may save the construction process from scaffolding. So climbing formwork can reduce the number of lifting machinery and speed up construction, so the economic benefit is better.
The structure of the climbing formwork can be divided into two parts: the supporting frame and the lifting frame (or the door frame). The lifting frame is attached to the supporting frame with the template, the ring and the operating platform.
The supporting frame is a simple frame, the insertion is in the lifting frame, the lower has a fastening device which can be fixed with the hardened concrete wall under the formwork, the upper end is extended at the top of the lifting frame, and various lifting devices can be installed to convey the full load of the lifting frame.
